interested in serving on the Board in 2012?

Dear Shareholders and Neighbors,

The current 375 Lincoln Place Board of Directors would like to know who is interested in serving on the Board in 2012. If you are interested, please email 375LincolnPlaceBoard@yahoogroups.com as soon as possible so we can include your name in an announcement of 2012 candidates.

Elections will take place during the annual shareholder’s meeting on December 5th at 7:30pm.

If you are still undecided, current board members (and probably even past board members) will be happy to discuss the responsibilities with you.

It’s not scary but it is a commitment of a few hours per week. We all have busy lives and many of us have families (two current board members with newborns!) and it’s not easy to add a new piece to that puzzle but as a co-operative our building relies on each other as to keep things moving forward.

There are great benefits to being on the board such as learning more about how the building works, learning/deepening your management skills, getting to know your neighbors, and doing something positive for your community.

We hope you will consider running for the board in 2012. Let’s make this a year we have to vote (rather than wait for people to feel guilted into stepping up during the meeting).
