“Vile.” That’s how Aaron Souppouris describes the new NYC taxi, a Nissan NV200. It certainly lacks the flair of an old Checker Weirdly, even though the NV200 is a minivan, it’s only got bench seating for one. (Plus one in the passenger seat.) But here’s the part that nearly everyone will like: the new cabs will have charging ports in the back for a quick phone top-off.
