A Glimpse of the World



Two of the country’s most valuable sports franchises extended their reach to New York’s newest and tallest perch Tuesday morning, when they unveiled plans for the three-level “One World Observatory,” on the 100th floor of 1 World Trade Center.

Legends Hospitality, a company owned by the Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys that provides concessions, retail merchandise, sales and marketing for stadiums and arenas, won the bidding last month to operate the observatory at what will be the tallest skyscraper in North America: 1,776 feet high with its mast.
