Park Place and Carlton Avenue Intersection Finally Gets Traffic Light

Park Place and Carlton Avenue Intersection Finally Gets Traffic LightIt's certainly took long enough, but the dangerous interection of Carlton Avenue and Park Place, usually used as a high-speed off-ramp for the adjacent Flatbush Avenue, finally received a traffic light late last week.

After crossing Flatbush on Park Place, pedestrians (walking to the B/Q stop, for example), frequently assume they're out of the woods once they've made it across the bustling avenue, only to be faced with even more oncoming traffic, in the form of cars and vans speeding off of Flatbush and onto Carlton, zooming right through the intersection.

Thankfully, that won't be a problem anymore (as long as people actually notice that the light is there, and stop).
