A robber tried to hold up the Capital One Bank on Washington Avenue between Eastern Parkway and Lincoln road, but left without getting any cash, police said.
The man passed a note to the teller demanding money just after 4:30 p.m. today, but then ran out. It's not clear whether the teller refused to give him the cash or whether he left for another reason.
This is the second hold-up at that Capital One Bank this winter and at least the sixth bank robbery near Eastern Parkway in the past year.
