'Fastrack' Repairs Come to 1, 2 and 3 Lines

Fastrack, the MTA’s new plan to shut down subway service overnight entirely on some lines while repairs are being made, will affect late-night commuters on the 1, 2 and 3 lines beginning on Monday.

From Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. each night, service on the 1, 2 and 3 lines will be suspended between 34th Street-Penn Station and Atlantic Avenue, in both directions.

However, the No. 4 trains will make all local stops between Atlantic and New Lots Avenue, meaning the Bergen, Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Parkway stations will still have service.
