One More Honor for Joe D: Finally, a Stamp

The Yankees may be one game behind the Boston Red Sox in the American League East standings, but the New York ball club has at least one thing to celebrate: a postage stamp.

Next summer, Joe DiMaggio will appear — for the first time — on a United States Postal Service-issued stamp as part of the 2012 Major League Baseball All-Star stamp series. The collection, announced on Monday, will feature three other Hall of Fame baseball players, though only Mr. DiMaggio’s name has been released.
