Origami Studio Coming to Classique Boutique Space

The kids are gonna love this one: Taro's Origami Studio, a place to "learn the art of origami folding in a fun environment," will be opening soon in the space last occupied by La Classique Boutique, on the second floor of 95 Seventh Avenue, between Union and President Streets.

Judging by their website, Taro's custom origami designs are really wild, and a huge hit back in Japan: airplanes, trains, busses, even Obama's limo (complete with Mr. President himself waving out the window) supplement your usual paper cranes.

The studio will be a place where children can "come and learn how to make animals, flowers, and 3-D models of cars and trucks." The space will also be available to rent out for origami parties and events.
