Day 2 Windows Installation 10.22.2013

More progress was made today, but still there were hiccups.

While work continued on the the tricky window of 4H, work moved into 4I. They began to tackle some of the windows that face the front of the building. Upon removal in this area it was found that that this time there were internal supports onto which the windows may be fastened (yay!) but that the upper part of that wooden support again posed a conflict with the external measurement used for manufacture. Once again, some wood needed to be removed in order to accommodate the new windows. This was done and two windows were ultimately installed.

Prior to installing any of the new windows, we are making sure that all gaps in the brick and wall are filled with insulation.

All told there were 6 new windows installed today (3 in 4I and 3 and 4E) and the initial window of 4H complete (the first of the mulled double hung windows).
